Hailing from an Industrious Textile family, Mr. Rajgopal graduated in Textiles from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences, USA.  During his tenure as the Managing Director of Lakshmi Mills he was instrumental in bringing revolutionary changes in its Business Operations.

His leadership and innovative skills paved way to produce finer thread counts of yarn spinning up till 170s.  Specialized plying of 200 Ne was brought to use.  His bold decision by virtue of his strong experience helped in venturing into yet another facet - Weaving.

As a Philanthropist, he chaired as The President of the GKNM Trusts from the year 1998 to 2004.

Shri  Rajgopal had varied hobbies and photography was one of his most passionate one.
